From the movie “It won’t ever happen”, comes a rendering of a BMW i8 Shooting Brake. The folks over at Rain Prisk Designs take an interesting approach to build the i8 Shooting Brake. The rendering retains the i8 front-end while the rest gets a total makeover: the roof gets a box for transporting things, while the rear end gets a sloping roofline and muscular fenders.
Other upgrades include a carbon fiber front splitter, custom black wheels and a lowering kit.
Shooting Brakes usually tend to be faster vehicles with lower, sexier rooflines, like the Ferrari FF. In the past, rendering artists looked at the M6 Gran Coupe Shooting Brake as another option, but BMW has yet to acknowledge a shooting brake is in works. Nor we believe there is one.
Mercedes sells a Shooting Brake in Europe, the CLS63 AMG Shooting Brake. People love it there, and it looks fantastic. The i8 Shooting Brake is a long shot, but it’s interesting to see what the car would look like.
